Big Day Out at Jellie Park

What a great day had by everyone.  A big thank you to all the parents that came along to help and make the day possible.  It was fantastic to see the whole school enjoying a shared event and many children trying and learning new things in the outdoors.

Art Gallery Visit

We had a great visit to the Art Gallery.  The children were really interested in learning more about the art installations and enjoyed figuring out the stories behind the artwork.  We had a limited time to look around I can highly recommend visiting with your family.  Here's a link to some of the pieces we looked at: http://christchurchartgallery.org.nz/exhibitions/op-pop

We also had an art lesson to follow on from our tour and the children began pop art in the style of Andy Warhol.  These are yet to be completed back at school.
